BIOGRAPHY Forged in a plot to revolutionize the standard music scene, smile smile fuses melodic vintage piano with powerful guitar overlaying a battle of female/male vocals and strong drum beats. smile smile strives to keep their music simple yet driving, wanting to bend the familiar.
Creating their own contemporary blend of folk/pop and rock, Smile Smile conceives songs ranging from powerful ballads to simple sing-a-longs. They address the timeless issues prevalent in every society while also exploring the downfalls of modern life.
Sweet breathy female vocals melt into the haunting melodies while strong male vocals drive the momentum. Catchy choruses are created through a mix of delicate piano and strong guitar.
The instrumentation is unique, combining a Fender Rhodes piano with an acoustic guitar processed through effects with a vintage pickup. This is a new type of music out of Dallas and everyone is curious.
